    So easy!

I love this, BUT I sub more berries for banana and chia seeds for wheat germ.

Amino Acids, Vitamins and wonderful flavor

This is a great way to get vitamins, amino acids and great flavor for breakfast all in an easy to prepare and delicious drink. Breakfast in a smoothie with Silk....tastes "Silky Smooth and Delicious". What a great way to get lots of your food pyramid requirements in one delicious drink for breakfast. Wonderful!

    Wonderful!

I love this recipe! I make it a lot (when I am not having the chocolate banana smoothie!). I sometimes put in 3-5 ice cubes to make it extra thick and cold (great for a hot, summery day). Also, I freeze the banana, which also makes it extra thick and cold. The honey sometimes makes the smoothie too sweet-it depends how ripe the banana is. If you do not have a mango, peaches work well also.

    Coconut milk makes it better!

I personally leave out the wheat germ and add extra honey and additional berries! A little ice gives it more texture too!

    Love the smoothie breakfast!

I make smoothies for my husband and I, every morning. Even though I don't tell him everything I put in the smoothies (picky eater person), he loved this smoothie!! His response made me smile!!

It's good but I have a better idea!

I did enjoy this recipe but I suggest you try mine for a great tasting healthy alternative: 2 cups of Silk Almond/or Coconut milk 1 peeled Banana 3-4 frozen strawberries 1 handful of Spinach or any green mixture 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder Put everything in a blender until everything is pulverized, pour in a glass and enjoy! you will not taste the spinach or the greens at all, this is a great breakfast recipe for when you need to get out of the house pronto! It's very healthy and it keeps you full for a long time, it also helps with your weightloss goals.

    Delightful and Delicious

This smoothie recipe is delightfully refreshing and totally delicious. I alternate between light Silk soy and light Silk almond milk daily with the fruit. It is a 5 star winner !

Made one little tweak to recipe

My cup of mixed berries: raspberries & blackberries, added 1/3 cup pasteurized egg beaters to boost protein. Very filling.

Berry (Delicious Almond Milk) Breakfast Smoothie a lifesaver

My son, who is lactose intolerant, recently broke his jaw, so everything is going through a straw for quite some time. We are not skimping on the calories, need to prevent weight loss, found adding any more sweet to the Silk Almond Milk Berry Breakfast Smoothie was just a bit too much. We do add a bit of protein powder, freezing the berries and fruit avoids having to add much more ice to achieve that frosty delicious consistency, keeps the flavors compact. Great break from the "soup" through a straw anytime! Berry delicious, thank you Silk Milk!

    Great Smoothie

I love making smoothies and I love the Almond Coconut to make them with. I used all the ingredients except for the banana and wheat germ. I like flax seeds and I'm allergic to bananas. The smoothie was excellent.

    YUM!

Ever since I bought my smoothie machine a few months ago, I am always looking for new smoothie recipes. I am lactose intolerant so using Silk in my smoothie is great because I don't have to worry about getting sick at all, plus it tastes better than real milk! Love this recipe. It tastes so yummy, and it's healthy!

    Great smoothie!

Me & my kids enjoyed this smoothie recipe. I did use liquid stevia instead of honey & used Coconutmilk. I like that you can also customize the flavor with whatever fruit you like. This is a recipe we make every week.
