    Delicious

I didn't expect to love this recipe so much! I used almond milk, instead of soy. My super picky husband even loved it and is already asking for more! Perfect warm, winter drink!

Hot Caramel Banana Silk

Preparation

  • Over medium heat, simmer sugar with water until the sugar begins to thicken and becomes very bubbly, approximately 10-15 minutes.
  • Slowly and carefully add 1 cup of Silk to the mixture. Sugar will immediately harden. Stir gently until caramelized sugar completely dissolves into the Silk.
  • Add a small pinch of salt and the vanilla.
  • Blend remaining 2 cups of Silk with bananas and add to the saucepan. Gently heat through, but avoid simmering.
