"We believe plants are the way to nourish people and the planet." That's what's printed on the carton. However, their nuts are nourishing us with chemicals. NON GMO and ORGANIC are very different. Organic prohibits the use of synthetic pesticides, petroleum-based fertilizers and sewage sludge-based fertilizers and herbicides; Non-GMO does not. Notice the first ingredient is ALMONDMILK, not Almonds. There are so few almonds in the milk - it's mostly filtered water - that if the ingredients were listed properly, that is, in order, almonds would be last. So SILK, for the 10 almonds used to produce this carton, why not make it Organic so you can stop pretending this is actually healthy alternative to cow's milk. Thanks.

Why fix it if it isn't broken? I don't get it.

I miss the old flavor.

By

from Michigan

Comments about Silk Original Almondmilk:

I hate the "New" Silk Almond milk. It tastes like sugar water. My entire family just switched to another name brand and I don't think we're the only ones. When shopping, I've noticed that the dairy cases have lots of the "new" Silk in stock, but not the other name brand I switched to. Please go back to the "old." I MISS MY SILK!

New taste is terrible

By

from Tampa, FL

Comments about Silk Original Almondmilk:

I'm so very disappointed in the new taste, it leaves a burnt after taste in your mouth. When I first began drinking Almond milk I tried all the different brands and chose Silk because of it's smooth rich almond flavor. I've tried several different cartons to ensure it wasn't a one off undesirable taste, but it was not a one-off. So very sad to try and find the next best thing. Hope you go back to the original formula, new is not always best.

Water, sugar, and a few almonds. A total scam.

Wouldn't recommend it

By

from Charleston, s.c.

Comments about Silk Original Almondmilk:

I've been using the vanilla almond silk for my lattes every morning for years. Its rich and creamy texture made the perfect latte. Since the "new Silk almond vanilla" came out, my lattes have been watery, and tasteless. Very disappointed! Gonna have to find another form of almond or soy milk. I urge Silk to take note of all the negative comments and go back to the original!

New formula is a let down

By

from Cincinnati OH

Comments about Silk Original Almondmilk:

I'm very disappointed in the new formula. It tastes like a mild vanilla but with an artificial aftertaste. If I wanted vanilla, I would buy the vanilla. I cannot support this product.

I am very disappointed that silk has changed recipes!

By

from Ann Arbor, MI

Comments about Silk Original Almondmilk:

I am incredibly disappointed that SILK has changed their vanilla almond milk recipe! I absolutely loved the original vanilla almond milk, to the point I actually craved it. Recently I purchased the new silky smooth recipe and I was very disappointed to find the new milk was so different from the Vanilla Almond milk I loved so much. Sadly I will no longer be purchasing this product.

New "silky smooth" taste

By

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Silk Original Almondmilk:

Don't like the new taste at all.. It's more like a non-taste! I'll be trying the store brand to see if it has more Almond Milk flavor. So sorry about the change, I really loved your product!
