My body doesn't tolerate non natural B12 (that found naturally in foods) and causes severe illness. When B12 is added to a product it is actually Cyanocobalamin, a synthetic and harmful even thought to perpetuate a b12 deficinancy. People who avoid cynthetic b12 find their natural b12 levels return to a non defincient state. Either way there are illness' where people cannot tolerate b12 and it is extremely hard to find foods that it isn't added to. I appreciate silk not adding a non natural ingredient to this almond milk and hope they continue to offer it.

The "new taste" is completely watered down and has no flavor at all. Don't mess around with a good product. The old original unsweetened version was great. I will be switching brands now that your product is basically water.

New "silky smooth" almond milk is AWFUL!!

By

from Lansing, Michigan

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk:

I give the new silky-smooth flavor no stars, but the app makes me pick at least one. I LOVED the unsweetened vanilla 30 calorie almond milk (5+ stars), but this newer version is awful. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to the way it was. This was the only non-dairy milk I ever liked for the taste and loved that it was non-GMO. I started with another brand when I found out I was allergic to dairy until I found the Silk and loved it for the taste and non-GMO. I may have to go back to the other brand. Hope not.

Bring back the previous formula

By

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk:

Silk has always been my favorite almond milk, but the new formula has a strange, almost chalky taste. Please bring back the previous formula!

Disappointed

By

from Charlotte NC

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk:

I thought the product was perfect as it was but now they have added more chemicals to make it "silky smooth". One of the reasons I switched to Silk years ago was due to the short list of chemicals/additives in the almond milk. I have stopped buying Silk for this reason.

too high calcium dosage

By

from Brooklyn, NY

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk:

The milk is good but am concerned that there is way too much calcium per serving. Therefore I have to limit my intake to 1/2 cup. Studies have shown that more than 250 mg of calcium at one time can cause stokes. I choose Silk over other brands because you have eliminated the carrageon.

Two gums in the milk?

By

from Boston

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk:

I want to support silk but I'm disappointed that there are two guns in the Allmond milk. The gums are bad for your digestion and I are not good for you overall. I've switched to almond breeze because they only use one gum and it's much smoother and less gloppy and thick.

I hope someday silk remove the gums

Silk is always in my fridge......especial the unsweetened...

By

from Natick Ma.

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk:

I no longer take calcium pills. My endocrinologist told me that as long as I have two glasses of milk per day the pills are not necessary. Since Silk contains 50 percent more calcium than regular.......Silk is a no brainer. I also believe that Silk was the first almond milk product to eliminate carageenan which.I believe, is an ingredient that can cause some issues if you have a g.i. problem. I, wish, however, it would come in quart sizes.......
