My husband and I have enjoyed both the Original and Vanilla flavored silk creamers. As of the last couple of months I have not been able to find the original creamer anywhere. The local grocer told me that Silk is no longer offering the original flavor. Is this true? If so why? Thank you

If you did focus group studies on this new consistency, you need to hire a new company. I, like everyone else here, went to the internet to see if an entire batch was being recalled. That's when I found that everyone else is having the same experience, has been for weeks now, and Silk is not saying anything abut it. So, that means this is the new product.

I was so excited to be in the city and able to buy myself a carton (they don't keep it at my smaller grocer in my area). Got home. Chomping at the bit the next morning as I fired up my coffee. And blurpppp, plop, plop, glop. After reading this is a new change to the formula (apparently), I made myself give it a shot. I literally can't watch it pour out of the container. As someone else said, I wouldn't serve this to guests. It's exactly how you would imagine a non-dairy creamer to curdle.

I loved this creamer. Please consider switching back. I can't stomach this.

Why the palm oil? Or any oil?!

By

from SC

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I love you Silk, your milk producrs are the only ones I buy. But why put oil in all your creamers?! I get they are supposed to be thick, but if you ask me, Silk's amazing soy milk (which is made without oil) is plenty thick enough. Now, all of Silk's creamers have oil which is a no-go for those of us living oil-free lifestyles. If we wanted oil in our coffee, we would add it ourselves! I quit using this and have had to resort to using Silk soy light milk in my coffee instead, which is delicius and works but wish I could have a smaller container. Please go make oil-free creamer options, Silk!

FORM ME, THIS IS THE BEST PRODUCT SILK HAS

By

from Florida

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

Definitely I do not stand coffee, if I do not have this ORIGINAL CREAMER, which gives it a wonderful flavor you probably could not imagine. I hope it gets never discontinued. This original creamer is much better than the VANILLA SOY CREAMER, since that is too sweet and too thick.

My husband used to drink Vanilla soy creamer per years, but as soon as we noticed the unpleasant and disgusting texture, he immediately changed to ORIGINAL and he feels great now.

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

Best taste ever in coffee! (There have been a lot of negative information about soy products so I keep my eye on that!). But, I'm willing to remain positive about my Silk soy creamer!

Not what it used to be!

By

from College Station TX

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

Creamer is now a solid. Comes out of the carton in blobs. Difficult to dissolve in coffee. Will wait for Silk to make it better before we buy again.

Love it!

By

from reno nv

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

This creamers is low in sugar yet sweetens my coffee perfectly and i drink straight espresso every morning, its also creamy enough unlike most almond milk creamers...if you shake it up a lot then pour you get "frothy" like texture that we all know and love...and about the last comment about it being clump...it only gets like that if you leave it out too long or if its been opened over 7-8 days...which is specified on the carton...so yea...I do recommend this stuff..its really helped me stick to my vegan diet! Thanks for getting rid of the caregeenans as well Silk!

Clumpy Lumpy

By

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I loved Silk Soy Vanilla Creamer until June of this year when the product started clumping. Not happy with this change at all. Black coffee anyone?

Significant decline in quality over the past year or so

By

from Los Angeles, CA

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

After being a regular user for years, I have noticed that over the past year or so the product has consistently thickened to yogurt-like consistency after the container has been opened and used for about a week or so. Have moved on to a better product. Bye bye Silk Soy Creamer.
