I love this milk! I am a fan of soy milk, and very much love almond milk. I didn't expect to love this product as much as almond milk, but I do. It tastes great but has a different flavor than both soy and almond milk. It is a little filmy, but not enough for it to bother me, just felt it was worth noting. I bought the vanilla flavor option with a coupon I received. I will likely buy this just as much as I buy almond milk, which is all the time lol

This afternoon I purchased this milk, and poured myself a small glass of it. I drank a little and then walked away, to discover my husband had finished it off. When I asked him what his opinions were, he said it was a little too sweet and thought it was nutty. This was before he knew that I was drinking a nut milk and not cow's milk.

My opinion was similar to his. My first taste brought forth a sweetness that I wasn't expecting. Then, the nutty texture and a very thin watery consistency. Being a faithful milk drinker, I really wanted to find a substitute to my favorite vitamin D milk. This, I found more similar to skim milk, if you are a cow milk drinker.

In the future, it's unlikely I would purchase this milk to replace my own milk drinking, unless I went with the almond milk, which I've found to be a little more pleasant. This nut milk, I will use for smoothies or for areas where milk is required.

Honestly the best milk replacement for my coffee I've found

By

from Louisville, KY

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

My husband is lactose intolerant so we usually buy coconut milk for coffee. I don't really enjoy it in my coffee, so I've been trying different types of milks. Nothing really replaced the creaminess of cows milk until I tried this one. The vanilla gives enough sweetness that I don't need to add sugar to my coffee, which is nice. So if you don't like sweet coffee you may want to try a version that isn't sweetened. I've also had this on it's own a few times and really enjoyed it, it tastes similar to a protein drink, just much "milder", no overly fake or overly sweet or grainy like a protein drink can sometimes be.

Clean, Fresh Taste

By

from Traverse City, MI

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

This Protein Nut Milk is perfect for a cold drink on a hot summer's day or blended into a fruit smoothie. It has definitely made my goal of eliminating dairy from my vegetarian diet even easier. Previously, the only options available were general almond milk, which only had 1g protein per serving. This product allows me to receive the protein I previously got in a regular dairy milk, but takes out the unethical piece of dairy farms. The only complaint I have about this product would be the price. Seeing that a gallon of milk is only 99 cents, I am obviously more inclined to just buy a gallon of dairy milk, even though the moral ramifications pang me. Therefore, if the price could be lowered to be more comparable to a dairy milk, or even just more coupons be available, I would love to continue buying this product!

Always sold out, my favorite

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

This is my coffee creamer, smoothie maker deliciousness. My absolute only complaint is that it is always out at my store I go to the store everyday and have to buy 4 at a time and it takes up room in my fridge. Thinking maybe I'm going to just start ordering because coffee and I are not getting along without it. Seriously this stuff is the best!!!

Best Nut Milk EVER!!!

By

from Tacoma, WA

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

I have been vegetarian for 15 years now and I have NEVER tasted a nut milk so good. I usually only drink almond milk with cereal because like most nut milks I've tried I can't stand the taste of the milk alone. Well I got this milk because of the protein and OMG I will never switch.. Its so smooth, creamy, and thick. I can drink it alone, eat it with cold and hot cereals. Its just so good.. Please Silk never change anything about this milk..

Awesome for breakfast!

By

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

I love this product!! I got it to try in my coffee in the morning bc I am not a morning eater... I knew I needed the protein to get moving in the mornings though since I don't eat. Also needed low in carbs! So this product looked enticing with the amount of protein. I was skeptical bc I am not a fan of almond milk.... But this milk is amazing! It is super creamy in my coffee and keeps me full until lunch with the protein. I recommend everyone try it!!

I love this product!

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

I finally found a milk that I can drink plain. Not only does this milk taste delicious, but it has all the nutritional benefits I want in my milk. What kept me from making the switch to almond milk was the lack of protein so I am so happy to have tried this milk!

I'm in love

By

from Northridge

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

I've tried the unsweetened vanilla almond milk, the sweetened vanilla almond milk and all different types of dairy substitutes and this is the holy grail! I'm vegetarian by choice but I've never really liked how I feel after drinking milk so I stepped away for awhile, I was debating going back and then I happened upon this in the store and I loved it. I've used it in my coffee, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, pancakes, protein shake base, in a smoothie and in cereal and I doubt I'll ever go back to cow milk again! Love that it's pea protein too! Thank you silk please never discontinue this!

Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

I put the Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk in my cereal. It has more of a cashew taste to me than vanilla. I think I will experiment in a recipe. This post was sponsored by Silk as part of a sampling activation by Crowdtap. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.

So much better than just almond.

By

from Hutchinson, KS

Comments about Silk Vanilla Protein Nutmilk:

This stuff is amazing!! I have had the vanilla almond milk before. It wasn't bad but I wasn't a huge fan. I recently tried cashew ice cream for the first time and it was DELICIOUS! I have been debating on trying cashew milk so when I had a chance to try this I jumled on it. It is just like the ice cream! Creamy, sweet, and rich. The almond tempers the richness a bit, but it is still incredibly good. I am in love!
