I use this product in every way I would use regular milk.I find it tastes the closest to dairy milk of any I've tried,I actually enjoy drinking it on it's own.I love having this simple, easy, painless way to cut calories in my life! And i like the idea of getting away from dairy......cow's milk {or goat's,or sheep's} is made for their babies, not for humans, and not for adults.Just look to nature to see mother animals weaning their babies....you don't see adult cows drinking cow milk

I really wanted to like this product since I can no longer have dairy, soy, or almond milk. My store was out of Pacific brand, so I bought Silk from the refrigerated section. I used it in a couple of cups of coffee today and after the first cup was suffering from some digestive trouble. I thought it might just be the caffeine, but when the problem started getting worse throughout the day, I knew it wasn't just coffee. I didn't eat anything that might have caused it, and the only new introduction to my diet was the Silk. I checked the ingredients and saw a number of things other than Cashews, including Almonds. Shouldn't this be considered a "blend" instead of simply labeled as Cashew milk? I accept fault for not reading the fine print before drinking, but I'd think 25% of the product being almond warrants some room in the title. As someone who has trouble digesting almonds, I'm guessing my bout with the runs is due to the Silk I ingested today. Needless to say I won't be purchasing this again, and will be VERY careful about trying any other Silk products.

Cashew Silk used to be my favourite.

By

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Cashewmilk:

Cashew Silk has certain ingredients which gave me severe indigestion problems similar to IBS. The troublesome ingredients are the thickening agents such as xanthum gums, locust bean gum, etc.
The minute these thickening ingredients are substituted for another such as Arrowroot starch I will buy it again. With pleasure.

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Cashewmilk:

Far and away my favorite non-dairy milk. It has the creamy quality that the others lack, which is huge for me.

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Cashewmilk:

I never could get used to almond milk in coffee, so nothing but cream seem to work for me, until I tried this cashew milk. It's fantastic in place of coffee creamer, with just the right amount of color and creamy taste. Thank goodness for cashew milk!

It's a hit

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Cashewmilk:

I used to buy almond milk and my family always complained, but they like the cashew milk better! O used to think i didn't like cashew milk after only having tried the sweetened variety. I find the unsweetened much more palatable. Perfect for my cereal and coffee

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Cashewmilk:

I have been using Silk Unsweetened Cashew Milk for months now and I think it is great on cereal. I have not tried it as a replacement for milk in cooking or baking yet. At 25 calories a cup, you can't beat it.

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Cashewmilk:

A great mixer for protein powder. It adds a lot more body and flavor compared to using water and with minimal calories compared to skim milk. Good stuff.
