We’re so happy to bring you coconutmilk that tastes good and does good too. We source the coconut cream for our coconutmilk from a company that partners with about 1,000 family farmers in Thailand. This partnership often serves as a primary source of income for these coconut-farming families, but it’s more than just a financial arrangement. Our supplier helps ensure safe working conditions, provides daily lunch for employees and donates over 100,000 baby coconut trees a year. Our supplier also offers employees’ children—and people in the surrounding community—scholarships for primary, secondary and university education. The scholarship budget is around $60,000 per year.
