About Cashewmilk

The Special Creaminess of Cashews

Milk from Cashews? You heard right. It’s an irresistible creaminess that you’ve got to taste to believe.

The scoop

It all starts with the cashew tree—they’re held in pretty high regard in our world. While the cashew tree has long been loved for its wood, cashew balm and cashew apples, the cashew nut itself didn’t gain popularity until the beginning of the 20th century. And we’re sure glad it did!

We carefully select our cashews for great quality and flavor. Then we roast and grind them into a butter that’s used to make our deliciously creamy cashewmilk. We’ll admit that it’s a bit of work, but it’s worth it for every precious drop of creamy cashew goodness.

We’re totally nutty for cashewmilk

We know, we know—it’s so smooth and creamy that it feels indulgent. But you’ll be surprised that our Original and Unsweetened Cashewmilks have fewer calories than skim milk!* So skip the guilt and feel free to pour it on over cereal, in recipes or guzzle straight from the carton.

Need some ideas? You can substitute cashewmilk in any of our recipes, but these are some of our very favorites: silk.com/cashewrecipes

Tastes good, feels good

We love cashews because they have a lower fat content than many other nuts and offer monosaturated fats. Like all Silk products, all our Silk Cashewmilk varieties are enrolled in the Non-GMO Project's product verification program and proudly display the seal on pack once verified. We’ll drink to that.
