I use this product as a substitute for milk or cream in every recepie you could imagine. Both me and my girlfriend like to avoid dairy if possible and silk protein nutmilk has made that a feasable reality. We go through almost a full carton every two days. It truly is the definition of a staple in our lives. I am so thankful they are so concious with their sourcing of ingredients, getting non GMO project verified and making sure their products are carrageenan free, I cannot say enough good things about this brand. They have changed my life and health for the better. I beg you, give the original almond milk a try, then the original protein milk. You will never go back!!

Much love to you silk, keep revolutionizing our food industry one product at a time!

I've only been able to drink rice milk because most milk alternatives are pretty nasty and change the taste of what I'm eating. Unfortunately, rice milk has no nutritional value other than the calcium they add. In an attempt to increase my protein intake, I tried this Protein Nutmilk by Silk.

Pros: Its rich, "creamy", and has a good source of protein, fat, and very little sugar. I've cooked with this and it doesn't seem to separate.

Cons: However, it really thickens anything I try to make with it. This milk is THICK. They should omit the thickeners if possible. I can deal with that, but what I can't deal with is the taste. It is no milk replacement and tastes worse than soy and rice milk. Its very strong tasting and even after adding a bunch of vanilla extract to it (I was making a custard), I could still taste the nut flavor. In fact, I also tried half cows milk and half nutmilk... I could only taste the nutmilk!

Its not for me. Others may like it, but I'd rather they make a protein rice milk instead, which would be fantastic for those with nut, soy, and dairy allergies.

This stuff is FABULOUS!

By

from Charlotte, NC

Comments about Silk Protein Nutmilk:

Since my daughter went dairy free, Silk has been our go-to for a milk alternative. BUT now, this product has the whole family on board. The amount of protein is fantastic, and we even prefer the taste of this over real milk. Such a great product. And while I'm here, your yogurt gets 5 stars as well. YEAH for SILK! Thank you!

Protein's importance and a milk allergy makes this #1

By

from Englewood, Colorado

Comments about Silk Protein Nutmilk:

I've been allergic to all milk products for over 40 years. It's always been a challenge to make sure I get enough protein. This wonderful new product is a great help. I can get at least 10 grams of protein a day just using one cup of Protein Nutmilk on my cereal. Thank you!

Comments about Silk Protein Nutmilk:

Having to avoid dairy, i use this product instead. I love the creaminess and the flavor is luxurious. I buy the low sugar variety in vanilla. I recommend this to anyone with dairy or soy allergies. It provides the extra benefits of protein an great source of calcium.

Too sweet

By

from Menlo Park

Comments about Silk Protein Nutmilk:

I typically buy unsweetened almond or soy milk from Silk, but wanted to try something with a little bit more protein so I picked up this Protein nutmilk yesterday and tried it this morning. I find it too sweet, and the calorie count is 10x the unsweetened almond milk. I know pea protein adds some calories, but my ideal nut milk would be less sweet, maybe 7-8g protein per serving, and about 80-90 calories.

The Best!

By

from Sarasota, FL

Comments about Silk Protein Nutmilk:

As someone who suffers from eosinophilic esophagitis and has allergies to dairy, eggs, and gluten, my breakfasts used to be anything but substantial and left me feeling hungry within minutes. Not anymore! I pour the vanilla protein nut milk all over my cereal. The taste and texture are amazing, and I actually feel full and no longer get the jitters from low blood sugar. Thank you!!! Don't ever stop making this!

Best Non-Dairy Coffee Creamer On the Market!!!

By

from 94508

Comments about Silk Protein Nutmilk:

We have been looking for a significant amount of protein in my coffee creamer (without soy, egg, or dairy, of course). Silk Protein Nut Milk: A truly creamy texture ( i use a lot of cream in my coffee) and packed with organic protein without being loaded with soy, sugar, or chemicals: YES, PLEASE! I love this product and it has made all the difference. I discovered it recently in North Carolina and now am working on the local market to carry it here in CA as mornings are so much better with it! Thank you, Silk, for offering Protein Nut Milk!

I liked it!

By

from Lehi, UT

Comments about Silk Protein Nutmilk:

I just drank it straight. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously, it doesn't taste like regular milk, but it's a great substitute. I don't usually buy almond milk because it doesn't have enough protein. This does and I'm quite pleased with it. I'll definitely buy it again.
