This is soooo good! Love the fresh subtle taste of coconut milk without the sweet sugary taste and just 45 calories! I drink it in place of milk and soak my oats in it overnight. Great appetite suppressant. It has minimal ingredients. Please do not stop making this one!! I am always heart broken when the store is out!

I have never tested coconut milk as watered down as this. If anyone think that's a good thing for diet purposes, it's not. Also if you think it's important for coconuts to be organic, again, it's not. Studies show non-organic coconuts have virtually no pesticide residue since they aren't grown with any. Do yourself a favor and buy a container of real coconut milk that only contains coconut and water. It doesn't require anything else. Thickeners only mean too much water has been used.

Did not like the flavor or texture at all!

By

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk:

I've been drinking SO Delicious Organic Coconut milk for a while now. I love the flavor of the milk. I tried Silk and it was watered down and tasted terrible.
Unfortunately I should have known, I've tried every other "silk" milk substitute and haven't liked any of them.

Good alternative for dairy

By

from Calgary, Alberta

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk:

Bought this for my husband ( to put on his oatmeal, etc) as he was diagnosed with CKD and was advised to take low potassium, among other things. Coconut is high in Potassium ( and so all dairy products) and this is not in his food list but when I saw this, containing only 40mg/cup, thought this is good. Hope the nutritional is correct. I, myself like it , might start using this in my baking due to lower K content.

I will only buy Silk

By

from Las Vegas, NV

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk:

I use this product for everything. In my protein shakes, cooking, baking, facial cleanser and to wash my hair. Ive bought other store brands, canned, and boxed all were too creamy due to the access oil from the coconut it's self. I buy my coconut oil separate and do not want this in my daily uses. So this is the only product with the least amount of calories and won't make my hair greasy after washing with it. I hope they never change this product. It's a go to in my house.

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk:

I started using coconut milk when I found out that I was unable to have regular milk. It has been wonderful! I love it in my iced coffee!! I even got my boyfriend, an avid whole milk drinker, to try it and HE LOVES IT! He uses it for his hot cereal and hasn't gone back to regular milk since. I'm glad we both found a healthy option to turn to!

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk:

Originally found and bought this for pineapple smoothies, but have since used it for a traditional caribbean rice and beans dish. A lot more economical and juse as flavorful (if not more so) than the canned coconut milks.

Delicious, smooth, but a little watery...

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk:

I've been sampling alternatives to dairy milk and am getting tired of soy milk, so I decided to give this a try.

The flavor and consistency of this product are delicious. You can definitely taste the coconut without it being too overpowering (like some other coconut milk that come cannedÑe.g. Trader Joe's) or too sweet. And it feels smooth and surprisingly creamy for a non-dairy product while you're drinking it.

Something about it does feel a little watery, and it's hard to explain exactly why. Maybe it's just a dimension of flavor missing that would usually be filled by the fattiness of dairy that I'm used to drinking.

Anyway, will definitely buy again!

I just purchase this product. It seems to satisfy my appetite. Time will tell if it affects my cholesterol levels. So far I am happy with it. I think it will fill my milk and Ice cream cravings.
