"This post was sponsored by Silk® as part of a sampling activation for Crowdtap. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review." I love Silk unsweetened vanilla cashew milk! I use it as a dairy substitute for dairy milk in my morning bowl of cereal. I love the nut taste and the creaminess! It has only 25 calories per serving and allows me to add my own sugar if I choose to. It has 50% more calcium than dairy milk as well. It tastes great and kicks my cereal and coffee up a notch.

This product is best tried and used in recipes. Smoothies and macaroni are some ways I came up with trying it. It is good product because it is natural, low in fat and calories and this carton had no sugar. Those were my positive aspects of this product. I was hoping it would be a milk I could simply drink. I did not like the taste of the milk alone. It is watery and tastes like someone soaked cashew nuts in water to give it a nut flavor. It isn't creamy at all. If I soaked some cashews in water at home I'd have made this product almost. I think the products need to be made more affordable as well. I gave the product 3 stars instead of 2 because I think it is a product that diabetics might would like to try.

Do NOT drink in coffee

By

from Stafford, VA

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Cashewmilk:

I bought this to try to make a healthier iced latte. I have tried almond milk in the past and found it very creamy, but I wanted something with fewer carbs. It was so incredibly watery, no vanilla flavor, and overall just tasted terrible. I had to pour it out. I would never drink this again. So disappointing since it was so expensive.

Same Consistency As Milk & Very Low Carb

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Cashewmilk:

This is my new go to milk. This has the same consistency as milk and tastes pretty good. It does not taste very vanilla like, more like a light vanilla. It is low carb - a total plus. When it is ice cold it tastes awesome! This is the best non-dairy milk I've ever had, and I've had soymilk, oatmilk, tigermilk, ricemilk, and almond milk. Please get this in Whole Foods ASAP! I bought this at Harris Teeters, and I'm so happy I tried it.

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Cashewmilk:

Plain unsweetened cashew milk is a bit too bitter for my taste; this vanilla unsweetened is a perfect balance. It's the best skim milk replacement I've found!

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Cashewmilk:

I bought this product for the first time to try and was not impressed. I drank it plain and it reminded me of what water would taste like if unsalted cashews soaked in it. I didnt taste vanilla and I would not describe it as creamy.

Comments about Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Cashewmilk:

I was hesitant to try this flavor as I didn't care too much for the original flavor. However I love it! The unsweetened vanilla flavor is much better than the original!
