    Cinnamon Breakfast Quinoa Recipe

I am always looking for high protein / natural food recipes and this one is great. I do alot of biking and this keeps my energy high and I don't get the cravings when I'm done. I used the raisons and cranberries in my recipe and only 1 Tbsp of honey.

    Great hearty hot breakfast!

I love Quinoa! I've now replaced Quinoa for rice in almost every dish I make. This breakfast dish reminds me a lot of the cinnamon rice my mom cooked for breakfast frequently. I use Silk Almond milk or Coconut milk and both work great!! Try it :)

    Yummy Quinoa Porridge

This was delicious! I've not had quinoa in anything other than savory dishes but this was really good! I used Silk coconut milk because it is what I had on hand and it turned out great. Cinnamon and raisins went well, even with the coconut, but I added a tiny bit of brown sugar as well. I will make again! Thanks!

    Strange

I used the original flavor soy milk, white quinoa, raisins, and didn't add the pecans. I really wanted to like it, but the flavor was just...strange. And not in a good way.

    Warm Winter tummy filler!

I have been dealing with Candida Albicans and am on a strict diet. I love finding recipes with quinoa! It has become my best friend. I will try this recipe minus the listed sweeteners and fruit. Looks yummy!

    Gives new life to quinoa!

This recipe is fabulous! I hadn't thought of using quinoa as a breakfast grain, but after trying this recipe, I can't believe what I was missing! The soy milk adds a creamy richness to quinoa that I had never experienced and it is now a morning staple for me!

    Cinnamon Breakfast Quinoa

Because I am lactose and wheat intolerant and also calorie and nutrition conscious, I am limited in the kinds of desserts I can or will eat. Instead of cooking this for breakfast, I started it as I readied our main course for dinner and had it ready to dish up for dessert less than half an hour later.

    super breakfast

this is going to be my new alternative breakfast. Though it is easy, a little extra time is needed in the morning, or make a batch beforehand to just rewarm everyday. I'm all for healthy starts to the day

    Great change of pace.

I love quinoa but get tired if eating it cooked like rice. I had been looking for a way to fix it as a breakfast treat. This recipe was perfect. Not only could I use dried fruit but I have used fresh blueberries and strawberries. I dont tolerate regular milk very well so Silk gives this recipe the protein kick i need. Silk is smooth and very tastey.

    Great for breakfast for kids

I would not expect a quinoa to be so good and to serve it to my family for breakfast. It is just great, I put stevia instead of sugar.

    Something easy and different!

Quinoa is such a fun alternative to my typical oatmeal for breakfast. This makes a warm, hearty, and tasty meal. I used unsweetened vanilla almondmilk. Preparing the quinoa in a rice cooker makes the process even simpler!

    Cinnamon Breakfast Quinoa

If you are looking for a tasty, protein packed way to start your day then this is it! I used unflavored almondmilk and added dried cranberries and raisins. Agave nectar works well in place of honey or brown sugar. Love it and will definitely make it again.

i used agave nectar, cinnamon, and raisins with this and it reminded me of rice pudding which I loved but can no longer have. This is the first time I have tried quinoa and I enjoyed it. Will eat it more frequently like this.

Delicious! Even my 2 year old thinks so!

I've made this recipe numerous times now - it has become a regular breakfast menu item for us. It is the best way to eat quinoa, hands-down! We make it with Silk Original soy milk, which gives it a lovely richness. We also add sliced bananas and drizzle with more milk at the end. I love that it is a power protein boost in the morning. My two year-old loves it, too, and can eat as big a bowl as I do!

    AMAZING

I have never really liked the taste of quinoa, but when cooked with almondmilk, the quinoa is delicious. However, don't take my word for it, try it yourself! You won't regret it. Make sure to add raisins or some sweet fruit to compliment the quinoa and ENJOY :)

    So healthy and tasty!

First time making this for breakfast and it was wonderful. I cooked the quinoa as directed but rather than adding sugar I added stevia and flax seeds. Once served into bowls I topped it with more almond milk and cinnamon. The sky is the limit on different variations. Great breakfast!

    Best Recipe I've Found

A couple weeks ago, I stayed at a bed and breakfast that was wonderful. For breakfast they served only fresh and natural foods including the cinnamon raison quinoa. I loved it instantly. I am an avid oatmeal and blueberry fan, but now I have this at least a few times a week. I love the taste and the fact I am getting my much needed protein. I have it with all kinds of fruit and generally topped with a little bit of shaved almonds or walnuts. Only thing I would ask is for a breakdown of calories, carbs, proteins and fats. THANK YOU!!

    Neutral

I'm going to be fairly neutral. I am not a lover of quinoa, but it really looked so good I thought I'd try it. I can honestly say I didn't hate it.....and I think I would actually make it again. I used raisins and dried cherries, and Silk Soy Vanilla Lite. (what I had in the house) It might be something I could get used to.
