    Great Nutrition and Yummy Too

I substitute coconut or almond milk for the soymilk because that's my preference, but everything else is right on target for a healthy, tasty, refreshing drinkable meal for me!

    Competing With My Granddaughter

My granddaughter is a vegan. She turned me on to drinking Silk soy milk products. This particular recipe has put me into competition with her to see who could drink the most of this drink. This is a great combination of flavors that will satisfy everybody, regardless of age.

Every morning before school my husband makes a smoothie for my daughter. She notices right away if he uses anything but Silk.

    Refreshing and Healthy

This is an easy and very tasty drink, full of nutrition that is good for you! I tend to add a bit more of the frozen berries because I love them, and it's nice that this drink is versatile enough for these preferences. I enjoy it as a healthy boost after a work out or a long day, and it is perfect for refreshing my energy and improving my vitality!

    Spinach fruity

I use SILK almond milk instead of soymilk because of high calcium and anti oxidant added to almond milk. I have similar recipe without cocoa powderand avocado. Avocado is delicious in any dish and nutritious. Besides plant protein and flax, I sometimes add CHIA seeds in drinks and breakfast cereal. The recipe above is excellent in calories, nutrition, and taste.

    Smoothie-lover's DREAM!

I substituted SILK almond because that is my SILK of choice. This smoothie is delicious! It's by far, one of the best meal replacements I've ever had! All of the ingredients blended together give this drink perfect balance - one ingredient doesn't overpower another. My children are even consumers and love how creamy it is! Thank you for this wonderful recipe!

    Yummy protein!

Adding the protein powder is a great way to up the protein and still have the benefits of all the rest of the ingredients. Not only is this a great post-workout option, but it's a great breakfast, too, and keeps me going all morning.

    Soy or almond milk

I tried this smoothie with almond milk since I can't have soy. It was amazing. I've also tried it with many different kinds of berries. I like the strawberries best but blueberries and raspberries are great too. If you use frozen berries the smoothie gets even thicker and frothie.

    Silk Power Boost

I am totally IN LOVE with this recipe! I am a health nut, and I make a lot of smoothies in general. While looking for a new recipe, I came across this Silk Nutritionista Recovery smoothie. I tried this smoothie after a gym workout and boy, it was GREAT! Super delicious and refreshing. My aches and pains were replaced with rejuvenating fresh fruit, vegetables, and that creamy taste of light vanilla soymilk that has been a staple in my fridge for the longest time.

PERFECT in flavor combination and excellent filling option!

I made this today after my daily workout. I didn't have avocado, so subbed in pumpkin instead! It was excellent! So filling and the flavor was perfect!

    Yummy with a change

I usually add the almond milk with this, I think it adds another layer of flavor, and sometimes also throw in some frozen mango or papaya when in season! Tastes like you're on the beach!

A good versatile recipe-offering some tweeks

I hope you give this a try too, sometime. Silk Original Coconut Milk, 1 cup or more to desired thickness up the cinnamon to 1/2 tsp. (or more if you like...really good for insulin level stability) banana and ginger as in original recipe omit avocado, though good, and substitute 1 T. virgin coconut oil Whole flax seed, hemp seed and chia seed, 1 T. each- grind fresh in a coffee grinder, or if you have a Vitamix, no need (it blends it smooth on high very well) Ice cubes This is very tasty and quite versatile just like this. Spinach, cocoa powder, other fruit are optional, though good.

    Berry Delicious

This smoothie is so good! Adding the avacado makes it so creamy and the cocoa powder adds a nice touch to the berries. I also used ground ginger and chia seeds. I think this recipe goes great with any other frozen fruit you have on hand
