Ingredients

  • 1 cup Silk Light Original Soymilk
  • 1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana*
  • 1/4 small avocado
  • 1 cup Earthbound Farm power greens
  • 1 scoop Vega One French Vanilla protein powder
  • Water
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric, if desired
  • 1-2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, if desired
  • Stevia, if desired

*Remember to peel and chop the banana before freezing

    Alt. Post workout smoothie

    left out: earthbound power greens, whey protein, turmeric, cocoa powder, stevia and silk light original milk. Added: kale, spinach, chia seeds, and silk DHA omega 3, not an easy milk to find. Everything is the same. Came out delicious and awesome results

    Yummy!

    this smoothie is tasty and nourishing. The avocado makes it extra creamy! I substitute local honey for the stevia. Delicious fruity goodness !

    Easy on the stomach

    This highly nutritious and easily digested saved me. I made this smoothie to drink during recovery from intestinal surgery. It was the only thing that help to reduce discomfort of getting back on oral intake. It is very tasty too.

    Power Smoothie

    Great recipe...I also substitute Silk coconut milk for the soy. And as an added boost, I add 1 tbsp. Chia & 1 tbsp. Flax seed to the mix. I've also substituted various fruits depending on what's in my fridge. Kiwi adds more potassium than banana and pineapple helps prevent inflammation.
