    better than milk!

I switched making my kids smoothies to silk from regular 2% milk. They said they would never drink it but they could not tell the difference!

    Straw-Nana Flip Review

This is a great recipe both as a drink or as a topping for both pancakes or Belgian Waffles. Silk tastes great and very versatile. I always think outside of the box when I use Silk as a product. I don't even miss dairy!

    Sweet and easy!

I made this without the sweetener, and used the Vanilla Almond milk. It was sweet enough to satisfy the sugar craving, and tasted like a wonderful splurge.

    GREAT!!!

GREAT!!! Sums up this recipe very nicely! P.S. Even though the recipe says to use any flavor other than chocolate, we have also tried this with the dark chocolate flavor and it was fabulous!

This is one of the easiest smoothies to make. If you love Strawberry/Banana flavor (and who doesn't love it?), you will certainly fall in love with this recipe. Using Silk AlmondMilk, along with the fruit means its totally healthy along with being de-lish!! You can adjust the amount of vanilla flavoring to your liking as well. All in all, this is a very good recipe!!

    Awesome & nutritious

This is my go-to smoothie recipe. I use OJ as the sweetener & toss in blueberries, if I have them on hand. Delicious!

    Colder is better

Love my smoothies extra cold, putting Silk in an ice cube tray and freezing lets me have an extra boost of cold!

    Naturally delicious

Doc told me about Silk and its benefits for lowering cholesterol. Found that it's helping me ease into menopause a bit easier too. That's a bonus. Loved this smoothie recipe. Felt like a delicious treat! I didn't use any sweetener. The vanilla soy milk, and the banana, and strawberries were naturally sweet.

Quick and easy, and so good

This is a great healthy treat that tastes indulgent. Here's a tip on how to freeze banana slices and store them for quick blender treats: Cover a cookie sheet that will fit into your freezer with wax paper. Slice bananas and place them on the cookie sheet, almost touching. Place the cookie sheet in the freezer and allow the banana slices to freeze solid, at least an hour. When frozen, you can then store them in a plastic freezer bag or reusable plastic container. Don't just put the slices in a bag or container unfrozen - they'll all be stuck together when you want to use them.

    add a little protein powder

For a complete after-workout drink, add a scoop of protein powder (whey protein) and you'll have a complete meal replacement. And tasty too.

    Quick, awesome, easy!

So easy; it's my go-to smoothie! I use Silk Vanilla and leave out the extra drops of vanilla, but I'm sure it would be great either way. I also like to make sure my bananas are super, super ripe before I freeze them, because that's when they get super sweet. If I freeze them after they're borderline rotten, I usually don't need any additional sweetener. Definitely worth a try!

A life saver in my home

My son has a dairy and nut allergy among other foods. SILK fruit flavors were my son's only source of main dairy, since then they have been discontinued and then struggled to get him to drink soy milk. He now loves this smoothie and I've adapted it to include apple juice and soy yogurt. I enjoy the taste of this too. Would be nice to see several soy drinks in travel sizes too.

    Silk Smoothies are the BEST!

You cannot go wrong with this kind of smoothie. Any Silk like soy, almond or coconut that you have on hand, and any berries that are in season are great, though my favorite are also the strawberries! I like a little honey, too.

    Sinful Straw-Nana Smoothie !

I first had the pleasure of trying out this recipe when my older sister made it and was basically using me as her "ginny pig". I always say that I'll try (almost) anything once... And She used that excuse to get me to consume it before she did. I was one hundred and one percent shocked at how much I actually liked it! At first I told my sister it had a pretty bad taste just so I could have it all to myself!

    Great with Silk Coconut Milk

Made this with Silk's Vanilla Coconut Milk. I omitted the vanilla, since it was already included in the Silk milk that I used in this recipe. It was very tasty and refreshing. I even gave some to the kids and they loved it.

    Silk makes it YUM!

I use Silk for all my smoothies, shakes and those desserts I need without the extra calories and sugar. It tastes great, and even my kids love it! I'm hooked and hardly ever buy regular milk anymore! I tell all my family and friends about Silk products and how to use them in recipes and even drink it by itself. It is very easy on the tummy too, which is a plus!

    #I LOVE THIS SMOOTHIE

I absolutely love this smoothie, so delicious! I use sweetened coconutmilk/almondmilk and no sweetener at all, and it tastes amazing and sweet. To add just the right amount of kick, add some frozen blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, etc. Best of all: It's healthy! (If you use NON-GMO berries and everything.) :P It's a very simple, easy, amazing recipe. :) You won't regret trying it!!

    Tasty morning treat

I tried this recipe with Silk almond milk. It is such a tasty morning post-workout smoothie when I add a half scoop of vanilla protein powder(I leave out the vanilla extract when I do this). Can't wait to try more from silk.com!

    Add Protein Powder to Smoothie

I add one scoop of protein powder (scoop provided with powder). I also leave out the vanilla extract. I actually take fresh strawberries and bananas (peeled), wrap each separately in plastic wrap and put in freezer. Allow for partial defrost before blending. I use honey and it makes a very thick smoothie. This is made with Silk Unsweetened Almond milk.
