    Good & Good!

I added a dash of cinnamon. Such a great alternative to ice cream during my late night sweets craving.

    Wow! Delicious!

I read this recipe on my first half gallon container of Silk Almond Milk. When I got my second half gallon of Silk Almond Milk, I also got the ingredients for this smoothie. WOW! It is WONDERFUL!!

    Yummy!

I use either almond milk or coconut milk and add some protein power for a healthy filling breakfast. So good!

    Hi-Ho, Cherry-Oats and Splenda

This one is a nice variation on my usual. I recently purchased some fresh black heart cherries at the local farmers market, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I like that it uses a variety of Silk bases because I usually just buy Coconut or a blend of Coconut and Almond. I made two tweaks to this one and it seems to work well. 1st, I added rolled oats because I generally only make smoothies for breakfast and I had a pretty intense workout this morning. 2nd, I added a packet of Splenda. The honey just wasn't sweet enough, probably because I didn't use the sweeter Silk milk, so the Splenda was just enough to sweeten it and bring out the orange flavor I couldn't taste before. Great recipe!

    Great, easy smoothie

A friend gave me a bag of frozen cherries and I was looking for a simple recipe to use them. I love smoothies but dislike complicated and expensive recipes so I'm glad this recipe has items that I usually have in the house. I added a dash or two of cinnamon for some added nutritional benefits and a spoonful of xylitol for a little extra sweetness and it was perfect for me!
