Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious!!!! All dairy, soy, and nuts are prohibited from my diet (I am allergic to all of those items). This is the only brand that has created a coconut milk with few additives and great taste/texture! This milk is white, creamy, and has about the same thickness as whole milk, without that disgusting heaviness and taste that whole milk delivers. I like that there are three options: unsweetened (I add this to my eggs to make them fluffier), original (to add to my oatmeal and cereal), and vanilla (when I bake cookies, adds a nice hint of sweet vanilla). My husband was an avid 2% milk drinker until he tried the Silk Coconut Milk. He prefers it straight or in his cereal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed carrageenan is in this! I naively trusted this was a healthy product and just purchased 2 half gallons on a rushed grocery run. So disappointed to come home and find carrageenan - known to cause gut inflammation and linked to colon cancer - in Silk Coconut Milk. I will read labels prior to purchase and not just trust that certain brands are healthy and will not be purchasing Silk products anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Silk Brand Milk any flavor Any of the Silk brands that have Carrageenan in it are bad news in that it contains MSG (better still it contains "glutimic acid" which is toxic in your system. MSG has monosodium glutimate in it. It is not that the monosodium that is bad for you, it's the glutimic acid that is. Manufacturers are not suppose to put MSG in foods for consumers, so instead of recalculating their recipes, they still do under another name (carrageenan) hoping the consumer won't figure it out. You can look this up on line under MSG warnings and find a whole list of different names for MSG being used under pseudo names.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WHY SO THICK LATELY??? I buy silk coconut milk once a week because we love it in our cereal. The past several weeks I have purchased this product, ever single freaking one I buy is as thick as syrup. It's so frustrating. I'm tired of it. The expiration date is always good and it doesn't matter what store I am buying it in... It's always thick no matter what. Literally comes out of the carton like maple syrup. The taste and smell aren't "off" that much so I don't think it has gone bad but it's just so annoying to open yet another carton only to have thick white stuff end up all over my cereal. I'm done buying coconut milk from this company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it ! My little guy has been drinking goats milk since 12 months and he is now 18 months. I have been trying to get him to drink silk almond milk as I would like to get him off of animal milk. He was not a fan of almond milk, he would at times accept the sweetened vanilla. As soon as I tried the coconut milk, he was hooked :) it's been about a week now and he still loves it. I buy it in Charlottetown pei and it has no carrageenan. I have done some research and so far silk seems like the best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why is carrageenan NOT listed in ingredients I just looked at the ingredients of Silk Coconut Milk 80 and it does NOT list carrageenan yet when I look at the container I just bought, it is in it. WHY ? I thought is was going to be removed by now. Great product if they would remove the carrageenan

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delicious! Husband purchased for a GF muffin recipe. I was skepticle at first, but started to use in cereal and I LOVE IT. I also love almond milk but this has a much creamier taste to it. Delicious!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the taste! Was looking to an alternative to almond milk since the consistency of it was not to my liking. Found Silk Coconut and i'm hooked :D Dunno about the reviewer before me though. When I read her review I ran to look at my 1/2 gallon of Silk Coconut Original and was not able to find the ingredient she says is in hers. No matter. I'm happy with my Silk!
