Hi I purchased the original silk coconut milk and one day as I was pouring it onto my cereal a chunk of something came out. It was about the size of a quarter and looked like hardened milk with mold right in the middle, when I looked at the expiration date it was set at may 7 2017 and today is April 25.

I wasn't a huge fan

By

from Lexington, SC

Comments about Silk Original Coconutmilk:

I honestly didn't like the taste or texture of this product. I felt it was too thick and left a nasty after taste.

This post was sponsored by Silk® as part of a sampling activation for Crowdtap. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.

Contains sunflower

By

Comments about Silk Original Coconutmilk:

So sad they added sunflower to the new formula. I'm allergic. This should be clearly marked and isn't.

Love to mix it with chai, no tummyache

By

from denver

Comments about Silk Original Coconutmilk:

As I get older, I find that my tummy can't handle cow's milk anymore. I get a stomach ache now if I drink any kind of cow's milk or eat cheese. I buy the tazo chai mix and mix it with coconut milk and it is light and delicious. The coconut milk gives it just the right twist. I work as a barista and coconut milk steams really well so I like it in my lattes or iced drinks. Yum!

Ingredients are not natural

By

from Boston, MA

Comments about Silk Original Coconutmilk:

First of all, as another person commented, why add natural flavor? Second, why is there added sugar? This is not REAL coconut milk. A lot of artificial ingredients added.

Super Creamy

By

from Houston, TX

Comments about Silk Original Coconutmilk:

I use the coconut silk for my smoothies. I absolutely love coconut milk but was looking for a healthier alternative and decided to try the Silk product. I think I might try the "lite" version to reduce sugar and calorie intake. What I love about this product is the thickness it adds to beverages and the slight hint of coconut flavor.

Why is not every product created equally?

By

from Irvine CA

Comments about Silk Original Coconutmilk:

I use this on my gluten free cereal. I want to know why 40% of the time I'm throwing away complete new container of product. One container looks consistently like milk does, the other container looks like murky water with weird looking flakes in it (yes, after shaking the product and within the expiration date). We buy this product at Ralphs Tustin Marketview.
