My husband and I have enjoyed both the Original and Vanilla flavored silk creamers. As of the last couple of months I have not been able to find the original creamer anywhere. The local grocer told me that Silk is no longer offering the original flavor. Is this true? If so why? Thank you

Of the non-dairy creamers I've tried, Silk tastes the best and comes the closest to dairy creamer. I like it better than the options from Organic Valley and Califia. However, I stopped buying the Silk creamer because it uses palm oil. I don't see the need to include such an environmentally and ethically questionable ingredient. Remove the palm oil and I'd gladly come back to Silk.

Thick as......

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

Threw out 2 containers and returned 1 thinking it was bad. I don't like pouring lumps into my coffee. Not "silky" at all

What have you done to my creamer?!

By

from ellington, ct

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I have been using the original soy creamer for a while now and have been very satisfied. About two weeks ago I picked up my usual four pints. When I went to pour the creamer into my coffee it oozed out of the container and plopped into my coffee and literally splashed coffee out of the cup and onto the counter. I thought it had gone bad. I dislike the consistency of the "new look". It's not a "new look", it's a new thickness and it's not good. I won't be purchasing this product in it's new formula any longer. Please consider going back to the original "original".

Threw it out because thick, yogurt consistency

By

from Austin, TX

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

Have been using for years! Recently, the creamer is thick and gloopy, like yogurt. This is fresh opened from the store, a month before expiration date. I tossed it out and got another, only to have it be the same. You've lost a customer of 1-2 creamers/week. :(

Too thick?

By

from Pittsburgh, PA

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I used to love this creamer, but now I'm at a loss to figure out what is going on. After returning 2 recently purchased cartons to Whole Foods, because the consistency had changed to that of a super-thick milkshake, I opened one the 2 replacements to find the same thing. I called Silk customer service and they seemed not to be aware of any recipe changes and had no explanation. They asked if it smelled bad? Suggesting I should try it, even if it didn't look right? Isn't that risky? I'm only giving them a 2nd star because they refunded my money for 4 unusable cartons!

Bring back the old soy creamer

By

from Rehoboth, DE

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I thought this creamer was spoiled but now I read that it is your new formula. I will not buy any more of this or your other products as a result. I have thrown out 3 large containers because I blamed on the grocery store, thinking they had let them spoil. Bad decision Silk.

What is "Natural Flavor" in the ingredients?

By

from Provincetown, MA

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I applaud your use of Non GMO and your company's commitment to being transparent. So why do you have "Natural Flavor" listed as an ingredient. Quiet frankly that can be anything. I don't buy anything that is labeled that way as I will not ingest what I don't know is in there. Please be honest about all of the ingredients. Thank you.

New Recipe is Too Thick

By

from Clearwater, FL

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I bought a container of Silk Soy last week, and when it wouldn't pour out of the spout, I threw it out. Then I bought another container at a different store, and that one also poured out of the spout very slowly and thick, like fudge. The new recipe is not working. Please go back to the old, delicious recipe. The new one doesn't work, and I won't buy it again.

Disappointed

By

from Cape Coral, FL

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

The Vanilla Soy Creamer has been my creamer of choice for many years. This year I haven't been able to find it in any store. There was only Almond or Coconut Creamer which didn't have the same consistency of the Original Vanilla Soy Creamer you used to put out. I finally found it at a Target near us.
Yesterday I poured it in my coffee and it was fine. I poured another cup and the cream came out in Clumps! It smelled ok but was so clumpy it grossed me out! Before that happened though, I didn't think it tasted like the old stuff either. After reading the reviews on your website, I see other people having the same issues. Sludge is the perfect word to describe what it looked like. Very Disappointed and will have to find an alternative to SILK Creamer now. I used to recommend it to people all the time but I just can't anymore.

VERY Disappointed!

By

from Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Comments about Silk Original Soy Creamer:

I have been buying the original soy creamer for a long time, up until recently then I couldn't find it anywhere; it was removed from the shelves with no explanation, so I had to find an alternative. Now the 'NEW LOOK' is back and its terrible. I had to throw away a brand new one the other day because I thought it was 'off' - I opened it and it came our like sludge.., I bought a new one , this one did the same, I let it sit a while, shook it and tried to use it and it took so much to try to get the coffee creamy that I gave up. What have you done?? I am so disappointed and now I come to find out you also use palm oil? Shame on me for not noticing before and shame on you for being part of such a destructive environmental issue. I will gladly go back to my alternative after this.
