Ingredients
For The Mousse
- 2 Ripe Avocados, Peeled And Pitted
- 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 Cup silk Heavy Whipping Cream Alternative
- 1/8 Tsp Sea Salt
For The Whipped Topping
- 1 1/2 Cup silk Heavy Whipping Cream Alternative
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tbsp Of Chosen Sweetener (Maple Syrup, Honey, Stevia, Powdered Sugar, Etc.)
Directions

Step 1
Combine all mousse ingredients and mix with a food processor or hand blender until well combined. Scrape sides occasionally. -
Step 2
Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. -
Step 3
Next, to make the whipped topping, pour Silk into a deep bowl to avoid splashing during whipping (a chilled bowl is best to keep the product cold). -
Step 4
Add chosen sweetener and vanilla extract and whip until at "stiff state" using one of two options*:
1. KitchenAid Stand Mixer (Speed 8 or 10, 75-90 secs)
2. Hand mixer (Max speed, 2-3 mins) -
Step 5
Lastly, remove mousse from fridge and divvy up into small bowls. Then apply whipped topping and enjoy!
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not over-whip beyond the times listed above. The product can separate or lose its fluffy, whipped texture if it is over-whipped.
