Chocolate Avocado Mousse

preparation

  1. Combine all mousse ingredients and mix with a food processor or hand blender until well combined. Scrape sides occasionally.
  2. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
  3. Next, to make the whipped topping, pour Silk into a deep bowl to avoid splashing during whipping (a chilled bowl is best to keep the product cold).
  4. Add chosen sweetener and vanilla extract and whip until at "stiff state" using one of two options*:

    1. KitchenAid Stand Mixer (Speed 8 or 10, 75-90 secs)

    2. Hand mixer (Max speed, 2-3 mins)
  5. Lastly, remove mousse from fridge and divvy up into small bowls. Then apply whipped topping and enjoy!

    *IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not over-whip beyond the times listed above. The product can separate or lose its fluffy, whipped texture if it is over-whipped.
