Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Turbinado Sugar Or Demerara Sugar (a Type Of Raw Sugar That Can Be Found In The Baking Aisle Of Most Grocery Stores)
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 3 Cups Silk Original Soymilk Or Original Almondmilk
- Pinch Of Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Vanilla
- 2 Ripe Bananas

Step 1
Over medium heat, simmer sugar with water until the sugar begins to thicken and becomes very bubbly, approximately 10-15 minutes. -
Step 2
Slowly and carefully add 1 cup of Silk to the mixture. Sugar will immediately harden. Stir gently until caramelized sugar completely dissolves into the Silk. -
Step 3
Add a small pinch of salt and the vanilla. -
Step 4
Blend remaining 2 cups of Silk with bananas and add to the saucepan. Gently heat through, but avoid simmering.
