To help protect against accidental allergen contamination and allergen cross-contact in our production facilities, we hold ourselves and our suppliers to rigorous standards of safety and consistency. See a summary of our approach below but, just to be on the safe side, if you have allergies please consult your physician before trying our products or any new foods.
We know that technological controls and cleanup protocols are only as strong as the individuals responsible for using them. That’s why ongoing allergen safety training is mandatory for every employee who works on our production lines.
Because every production facility is unique, we don’t settle for “one-size-fits-all” safety procedures. Each facility is required to have a plant-specific allergen control program.
We carefully research and monitor all of our ingredient suppliers to verify that their allergen safety procedures are aligned to our high standards.
All of our facilities, and those of our suppliers and manufacturing partners, are independently verified to ensure consistent compliance with allergen safety standards. Regular finished product testing is also performed. Batch-testing helps to ensure that our safety controls have functioned as intended, and guards against the risk of accidental contamination.
